As the American Friends Service Committee celebrates its 100th year of pursuing peace with justice, the South Region has renewed its commitment to work for and with the communties it serves. By protecting immigrant families from inhumane deportation methods, advocating for food, income and housing equality, and educating the next generation of advocates for social justice, among other initiatives, the AFSC is invested in confronting urgent issues which threaten the safety of our friends, family and neighbors.
